The research and development of RX1E-S aircraft includes electric propulsion system assembly (motor, controller, propeller, cooling system, installation components), buoy (buoy, bracket), control system (rudder, control retraction system), avionics (cooling system power supply, cockpit indication), water proofing of the whole aircraft, take-off and landing transportation support equipment of seaplane, etc. The project has been listed as the civil aircraft special project of the Ministry of industry and information technology.
China has excellent natural conditions, with 18000 km coastline, nearly 1500 rivers with a drainage area of more than 1000 square kilometers, 49 large lakes, and more than 8000 reservoirs with a storage capacity of more than 100000 cubic meters. RX1E-S electric seaplane uses lithium battery as propulsion energy. Its carbon emission is zero, and its application prospect is very broad. It can be used in primary pilot training, private transportation, tourism, aerial photography, aerial mapping and other fields. The research on design and verification technology of light electric seaplane is in line with China's innovative and green development concept, which can increase China's independent innovation ability in the field of general aviation, and will greatly promote the development of green and low-carbon aviation industry. It is mainly used in pilot training, sightseeing, patrol,etc.
